High-Pressure Regulating (Shut-off) Ball Valve
Category: Eccentric Rotary Regulating Valve
Product Details
Overview
The rotary control valve features a simple structure, compact size, and lightweight design. It consists of components such as the valve body, valve core, stem, and seat. Its closing member is shaped like a sphere, which rotates 90° around the stem's axis to achieve opening and closing—making operation exceptionally convenient and ideal for remote control. When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces between the sphere and the valve seat are completely isolated from the media; thus, even when the medium flows through, it does not cause erosion of the valve's sealing surfaces.
The rotary control valve offers low fluid resistance, while the full-bore spherical control valve virtually eliminates flow obstruction. It boasts excellent sealing performance, ensuring complete media containment and reliable shut-off, and is easy to maintain. Thanks to the wiping action during the valve’s opening and closing process, the spherical control valve is well-suited for applications involving media containing suspended solid particles. It is particularly ideal for handling common working fluids such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas—and even more robust media like oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene—making it widely adopted across various industries. Additionally, these valves have become increasingly popular in vacuum systems as well.

Features
High-pressure regulating (shut-off) ball valve, featuring a forged valve body with excellent high-temperature and high-pressure resistance. The valve core incorporates an eccentric rotary design on its spherical surface, significantly reducing friction between the ball and valve seat during operation. This valve boasts low operating torque and an exceptionally long service life. With its straightforward flow path, it is ideally suited for handling highly viscous media, as well as fluids containing particles or suspended solids—making it particularly well-suited for precise regulation and reliable shut-off control of high-pressure media.
