Technical Documentation Delivery Seminar for Valve Drawings of the Poluo Reservoir Project

Time:2026-04-24

On April 15, 2026, the Technical Department convened the inaugural technical review meeting on valve drawings, conducting a systematic examination of the issues identified in the valve drawings submitted by the design institute. All relevant engineers and quality control personnel from the Technical Department participated throughout the meeting. The discussion centered on key aspects such as structural design, material selection, sealing performance, and process feasibility, with each issue subjected to detailed technical evaluation and iterative revision feedback.

The meeting’s work was structured into four phases: “issue identification and sorting—technical response—proposal revision—conclusion confirmation.” As of April 22, all 17 drawing-related issues had been fully resolved and closed, and the final documentation was submitted to the design institute for final review and approval.

The meeting yielded two key outcomes:

1. Clearly define the mandatory implementation standards for the critical parameters of key components such as the valve body, sealing surfaces, and valve stem.

2. Establish a post-review drawing management process featuring “multiple reviews, finalization and archiving, and version locking,” and integrate it into the enterprise’s technical documentation management system.

This review and approval process not only involves revisions to the drawings but also serves to standardize the design workflow. Drawings approved by the design institute will be handed over to the production and construction departments as the sole technical basis for subsequent fabrication and installation.
