Technical Documentation Delivery Seminar for Valve Drawings of the Bolo Reservoir Project

On April 15, 2026, the Technical Department convened the first technical review meeting for valve drawings, conducting a systematic examination of issues identified in the drawings submitted by the Design Institute. All relevant engineers and quality‑control personnel from the Technical Department participated throughout the session. The meeting focused on critical aspects such as structural design, material selection, sealing performance, and process feasibility, with each issue subjected to detailed technical analysis and accompanied by corresponding revision recommendations.

The meeting’s work was structured into four phases: “Issue Identification—Technical Response—Plan Revision—Conclusion Confirmation.” As of April 22, all 17 drawing-related issues had been resolved and closed, and a final document has been submitted to the design institute for its final review and approval.

The meeting yielded two key outcomes:

1. Clearly define the mandatory implementation standards for the critical parameters of key components such as the valve body, sealing surfaces, and valve stem.

2. Establish a post‑review drawing management process featuring “multiple reviews, finalization and archiving, and version locking,” and integrate it into the enterprise’s technical documentation management system.

This review not only involves revisions to the drawings but also serves to advance the standardization of the design process. Drawings approved by the design institute will be handed over to the production and construction departments as the sole technical basis for subsequent fabrication and installation.
